Palmer, William R., 88, of Marnoch Drive, Seekonk, MA, died peacefully on July 22, 2022 at the Hope Health Hospice Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Joyce E. (Dickerman) Palmer.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Ernest and Bertha (Marriott) Palmer, he lived in Seekonk, MA for 54 years.

Mr. Palmer was a Manager at BIF for 17 years before retiring in 1993.

William was a graduate of Bryant University Class of 1959. He enjoyed walking, working in the yard, investments, viewing the foliage in Vermont and visiting Longboat Key, FL. He was a devoted New England Patriots and Boston Bruins fan.

Mr. Palmer was a United States Navy-Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.

Besides his wife of 65 years, he is survived by two sons, Scott E. Palmer of Attleboro, MA and Todd J. Palmer of Cranston; a daughter, Pamela B. Campatelli of Seekonk, MA and four grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Carolyn Urquhart.

A private funeral service will be held in the W. RAYMOND WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside. A private graveside burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
